With a pH electrode, the current pH value in the aquarium is measured, which is then passed on to a pH controller. This pH controller then regulates the CO2 supply to the aquarium to reach a previously set in the controller pH value in the aquarium. If the pH electrode measures a higher value than the desired one, the controller opens the valve in the CO2 supply and CO2 enters the aquarium ... the pH value drops. Once the desired pH has been reached, the controller switches off the CO2 supply again.
The AQUA-NOA pH electrode / pH sensor is a quality electrode for all common pH controllers and pH meters with a BNC connector.
