Birch bark

The Birch bark offers a great decoration, as well as hiding places for shrimps, small crayfish and crabs in your aquarium.

Birch bark offers in addition to the very great appearance important ingredients such humines, flavonoids and saphonins. Especially the latter two have a weak antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect, which is helpful the aquarium (e.g. for the microbiology) and thus also helpful for the shrimp.

Our natural bark of birch is collected by hand, prepared and dried gently in the air, each piece is unique and different in appearance.

Note
Initially, the Birch bark floats, but sucks in the course of a few days full of water and then sink to the ground.
