ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Regular Type is a substrate made from natural soil for aquascaping or natural or planted aquariums. The ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia offers a high humin and nutrient content, reduces the hardness of the aquarium water and lowers the pH value to such an extent that most aquatic plants can absorb the required nutrients perfectly and therefore thrive. The result of using ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia is great growing aquarium plants with good root development.
The ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia granules retain their shape and density under water for a long time and thus ensure the circulation of water and oxygen through the substrate. The Aqua Soil Amazonia substrate makes it easier for you to care for even difficult-to-care plants such as Tonina sp. and is also ideal for aquarium inhabitants who prefer soft water, such as Apistogramma and various species of dwarf shrimp. The use of soil is (generally) not recommended if you want to care for fish that dig heavily in the substrate, such as cory catfish. As the fish griddle and the associated greater mechanical stress on the soil beads, tiny suspended particles are released that would cloud the water.
