The temperature can be adjusted well and easily by using a heater or controlled heater in the aquarium. Most heaters have a dial that allows you can regulate the desired temperature of 18-30 °Celsius.

A thermostat maintains that the heating element only starts when the water temperature drops below the set value.

Another possibility, which also serves a better flow within the substrate, and thus the plant root is beneficial, the use of a bottom heating.

A Substrate Heater is a heating wire which is laid under the substrate itself in the Aquarium, and so little heats the water. This rising heat causes an improvement of the soil flow. Thus, more oxygen-rich water also comes to the plant roots. About control units (Dennerle Duomat) settings can be made.
