This wire has been developed for fixing pieces of driftwood to each other or for temporarily attaching ferns like Microsorium or Bolbitis to driftwood or rocks until they have taken root.

Its brown color resembles the color of the wood. After the plants have taken hold you can carefully remove the wire, but you can also leave it in your aquarium in the long run.
