CO₂ (carbon dioxide) is one of the most important plant nutrients inside a planted tank. In order to boost the growth of aquatic or aquarium plants and to safeguard or even increase their vitality and health, we recommend the addition of carbon dioxide with a CO₂ injection system.

The AQUA-NOA CO₂ injection systems come with one-way or with refillable cylinders to provide you with the optimal CO₂ supply fine-tuned to the requirements of your aquarium plants.

Refillable CO₂ cylinders

Refillable cylinders can be filled again and again, as the name says. In the long run the cost for them is lower since refilling them with CO₂ isn't very expensive. The refillable CO₂ cylinders by AQUA-NOA are all equipped with a rotary valve, overpressure protection and a safety bracket (cage) that doubles as a carrying handle. The thread on the valve (W 21.8x1/14") fits all standard pressure reducers for refillable cylinders. Optionally, an adapter is available, with which you can use the CO2 cylinders with most pressure reducers designed for one-way bottles. The bottles are new and have a TÜV certification that is valid for 10 years, starting at the date of manufacture.

Please note: The reusable bottles are already filled with CO₂ upon delivery.
