CO2 Check test solution (indicator fluid)

Liquid CO2 indicator is used for visualizing the CO2 content of the aquarium water. For this purpose you need to fill it into a CO2 test / permanent CO2 test / CO2 drop checker.

The CO2 testing liquid for the drop checkers by AQUA-NOA comes as indicator for 20 or 30 mg/l of CO2. Depending on which CO2 content you wish to have in your aquarium you need to choose which version you require. If your plants need a lot of CO2 you should decide for the variant that indicates 30 mg/l. It turns green when the CO2 content reaches this level. With normal plants that require less carbon dioxide or for tanks with less plants, the 20 mg/l variant of the liquid CO2 indicator is absolutely sufficient.

The AQUA-NOA liquid CO2 indicator changes color depending on the CO2 content of the water as follows:
• BLUE = not enough CO2 has dissolved in your aquarium water
• GREEN = the CO2 content of your aquarium water is perfect
• YELLOW = there is too much dissolved CO2 in your aquarium water

The AQUA-NOA liquid CO2 indicator can be used with every permanent CO2 test (drop checker), independent of the brand.
