Pressure reducers for CO2 cylinders are necessary to reduce the pressure inside the cylinder (around 50-60 bar) to the considerably lower working pressure of 1-2,2 bar. The pressure gauge gives the cylinder pressure and indicates how much CO2 is still left in the cylinder. The pressure gauge for the working pressure (if available) indicates the pressure to which the cylinder pressure is reduced. With the needle valve you can adjust the amount of CO2 that is given off, i. e. the number of gas bubbles that are injected into your aquarium. All AQUA-NOA Double Stage Pressure Reducers are equipped with a standard 4/6 mm CO2 hose connection. The thread for returnable bottles fits all standard CO2 reusable bottles in trade.
Please note
If you use a solenoid valve that is not directly mounted on the pressure reducer, you need to use a pressure hose that is CO2-tight. We recommend using this type of hose for the entire connection, but at least to the check valve in order to reduce CO2 losses. In order to connect the check valve with the diffusor you can use a flexible, transparent silicone hose for CO2.
Differences between Double Stage and regular CO2 Pressure Regulator
Double-chamber CO2 pressure reducers have the advantage over a simple pressure reducer that the working pressure does not rise when the fill level is low. The working pressure usually rises the lower the level in the CO2 bottle ... the result: there is an increased supply of CO2 as soon as the bottle content falls below approx. 20% filling level. You then have to readjust the CO2 accordingly, or have the bottle refilled with the remaining amount. With the AQUA-NOA CO2 pressure reducer double chamber system, the working pressure remains constant until the bottle is completely emptied. No readjustment is required, which is a great advantage, especially with larger bottles, since the remaining amount of approx. 20% is very high here and you would have to readjust constantly.
The reusable one for the Basic series can be used as a replacement seal.

Top Druckminderer, die Verarbeitungsqualität steht der deutschen Konkurenz aus Euskirchen in nichts nach. In Verbindung mit dem CO2 Adapter 11 passt das Ganze auch mit den Sodastream/ Aldi Sodastar perfekt.
Das ist mittlerweile der zweite seiner Art bei mir in Gebrauch. Lässt sich ohne Probleme anschliessen und ist einfach zu bedienen.
Ein gutes Gerät, bin sehr zufrieden.
Der Druckminderer ist sehr gut verarbeitet! Der eingestellte Arbeitsdruck hält sich bis zum Schluss konstant. Das Nadelventil war nicht fest eingeschraubt, was den Vorteil hat, dass man recht einfach ein vorhandenes Magnetventil einbauen kann. Bin sehr zufrieden!
