myAqua 190/ 380 - Membrane

The membrane for the Arka myAQUA 190®/380® reverse osmosis system is a key component and ensures highly efficient water treatment in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It reliably removes up to 99% of all contaminants contained in tap water, including salts, heavy metals, pesticides, and bacteria, thus ensuring exceptionally pure, soft reverse osmosis water – the ideal basis for sensitive aquarium inhabitants and plants.

Made of a multi-layer polymer film with a pore size of only 0.0001 microns, the membrane offers an exceptionally high retention rate. This ensures that even microscopic particles are effectively filtered out of the water. The robust design and precise workmanship guarantee a long service life and consistently high performance for up to 24 months from first use.

The membrane is specifically designed for use in the Arka myAQUA 190® and Arka myAQUA 380® reverse osmosis systems. The membrane operates optimally at a water temperature of 25°C and an operating pressure of approximately 4.5 bar, but can be used flexibly within a range of 4°C to 38°C and pressures of 2.4 to 5.5 bar. With its compact dimensions of approximately 30 cm in length and 5 cm in diameter, the membrane can be replaced quickly and easily.
