The Chihiros Doctor 5 Bluetooth is an innovative water sterilizer that combines state-of-the-art technology for the care and stabilization of your aquarium. Developed for effective algae control and reduction of harmful germs, this device goes far beyond the function of a classic water clarifier – it offers a smart complete solution for monitoring and improving water quality.

At the heart of the Chihiros Doctor 5 is the process of controlled electrolysis. A targeted electrical voltage splits the water into hydrogen and oxygen, additionally producing reactive hydroxyl radicals. These act directly against algae spores, harmful bacteria, and organic pollutants – without affecting beneficial microorganisms in the substrate or filter. The result: permanently clear and biologically stable water – without any chemical additives.

Smart control and monitoring via app
Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the Doctor 5 can be conveniently operated via the MyChihiros app. Here, you can not only control the sterilization process, but also monitor the water temperature in real time, set an alarm for deviations (visually on the device or via notification on your smartphone), centrally manage compatible devices such as Chihiros lights, heating systems, or fertilizer systems, or set different modes for fish, shrimp, or plant aquariums, for example. The integrated display on the device also allows you to quickly check all relevant values or read the current countdown – without having to constantly reach for your smartphone.

Easy installation & operation
Installation is very simple: the electrode is attached to the aquarium glass with a suction cup and securely connected to the main device via a magnetic connection. Setup in the app is intuitive – manual entry of water values is not necessary.

Safe for animals & beneficial bacteria
Whether shrimp, snails, or sensitive fish species – the Chihiros Doctor 5 is completely safe for all aquarium inhabitants. Important filter and bottom cultures also remain unaffected, as the electrolytic effect only occurs in a small, controlled area.

Maintenance & Notes
The electrode is a consumable part and should be replaced every 6 months to maintain consistent performance. Important: This product is not suitable for aquariums with a TDS value above 500 ppm. A TDS meter for checking the salt content is also available here.
