Doctor Mate Bluetooth Edition

The Chihiros Doctor Mate Bluetooth Edition is a water sterilizer for aquariums up to a volume of 125 l. It suppresses algae growth and reduces germ pressure. Sterilization works according to the principle of water electrolysis.

Electrolysis is a process in which water is broken down into its components using electrical current: hydrogen and oxygen. This also produces hydroxyl radicals (•OH). These can neutralize or destroy algae spores, bacteria or pollutants in the water. However, since the electrolysis only takes place briefly and in a limited space, fish, invertebrates or even useful soil and filter bacteria are not affected.
The device is easy to install using the included fastening material and setup is completed in just a few minutes thanks to the intuitive app control.

The Chihiros Doctor Mate Bluetooth Edition allows precise control and programming thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity. The MyChihiros APP allows you to control the Doctor Mate as well as other compatible Chihiros lights, fertilizer systems and other accessories.

Maintenance & servicing
To ensure optimum function of the Chihiros Doctor Mate Bluetooth Edition, the electrode must be replaced regularly. Depending on the water hardness, replacement may be necessary after 3-6 months.

Important notes!

• Doctor Mate Bluetooth Edition is not suitable for saltwater aquariums
• not suitable for aquariums with a TDS of over 500 ppm. If you do not know this value, a measurement is absolutely necessary before starting up the Doctor Mate. Click here for a suitable conductivity meter.
