Utricularia graminifolia
Utricularia graminifolia from Asia belongs to the bladderwort family. All members of this family are perennial carnivorous plants growing in the water or in swamps. These plants have characteristic bladder traps that are unique in this plant family. Utricularia graminifolia will form these bladders after a short adaptation time in the aquarium. The species name means "with grass-like leaves". The fresh green leaves of the grass-like bladderwort do not need a long time to develop into a nice, low-growing carpet that reminds of a lawn. Utricularia graminifolia only grows to a height of 2-8 cm, which makes it a beautiful choice for the foreground.
