Shrimp love fresh water and oxygen, and in sparsely planted aquaria and tanks with an external filter, an additional oxygen supply is recommendable. Where the air space above the water surface is limited by a tank cover or lighting installation, an additional air supply might also be a great idea. The oxygen that can dissipate in the water from this area may soon become deficient.
This diffuser is mounted at the end of the outlet hose right at the water surface. Fix it on the aquarium glass and make sure the angle at which the water is injected into the tank is as flat as possible to create a good surface movement. Lead the air hose of the diffuser to a place outside the aquarium. With the help of the included pressure regulation clip you can dose the amount of additional air that is supplied to your tank. The unit mixes the air with the water moving through it, and the pressure provided by the filter pump brings the water under the surface.
