Original EHEIM replacement foam filter mats (open-pored).

The original Eheim filter mat is used for mechanical and biological filtering in the Eheim aquaball aquarium filter. The open-pored material is evenly flowed through by water and holds coarse but also slightly finer dirt particles. After a short running-in period, cleaning bacteria settle in the structured special foam, which ensure intensive biological degradation of pollutants.
