The birch tubes provide an optimal shelter and retreat for dwarf shrimp, small crayfish and crabs in the aquarium.
In addition to the very great appearance, birch tubes, or birch in general, provide important ingredients such as e.g. humines, flavonoids and saphonins, the latter two have a weak antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect and thus the aquarium and thus the shrimp to benefit.
Our natural birchwood tubes are handcrafted, each one unique and slightly different in appearance.
Note
Initially, the birch tubes are floating, but in the course of a few days they will suck full of water and sink to the ground.
