Cholla Wood, bright

Strictly speaking, Vukaholz is not a classic wood, but rather the dried inner skeleton of a columnar cactus – also known as cholla wood. Its unusual, honeycomb-like and porous structure makes each piece truly unique and a special eye-catcher in the aquarium. Hollow on the inside yet stable, Vukaholz sinks quickly to the bottom and can be placed flexibly in the tank.

Thanks to its natural properties, Vukaholz offers an ideal retreat and an ingenious hiding place for shrimp, crabs, and other invertebrates. The numerous openings and cavities create a protected “playground” that is particularly popular during sensitive phases such as molting. Of course, Vukaholz is free of chemicals and pesticides. Instead, it naturally contains important minerals such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium. In addition, it can easily be colonized by mosses, ferns, or algae, making it even more decorative and blending harmoniously into natural aquascapes.

Whether as a hiding place, grazing area, or design highlight, Vukaholz gives every aquarium a special, natural touch while creating valuable habitats for its inhabitants. Sandblasting gives it its characteristic light, friendly appearance, which looks particularly natural and decorative in the aquarium.

• Cholla wood is a natural product. Variations in shape, size, color, and structure are possible due to natural causes.
• Vukaholz floats at first and should be soaked in water beforehand. After approx. 2-3 days, it will have absorbed water and sink to the bottom.
