Indian almond tubes

The active ingredients of the indian almond tree (including tannins) have a mildly disinfecting and fungicidal action. Therefore you can use indian almond almond tree tubes e.g. preventively good and easy to use against fungal and molting problems with shrimp and crayfish in the aquarium.

Our tubes of the indian almond tree are untreated and have been gently dried, with the indian almond tree tubes also providing a natural decoration and a great hiding place / shelter for shrimp, crayfish, crabs and smaller fish.

Usage
Approx. 10 g each are sufficient for approx. 600 l of water (of the disinfecting and fungicidal effect).
As a decoration, or if the effect has been exhausted, can be portioned according to your own taste.
Recommendation: We recommend rinsing the indian almond almond tubes briefly with hot water before use. For a strong effect, put the indian almond tree tube immediately into the aquarium. If a milder effect is desired, we recommend watering for several hours to a day.

Our Tip
Initially, the indian almond tree tubes may float on the surface, but then sink to the ground after a few hours. An initial occasional slight cloudiness is natural and completely harmless. This loses itself after a short time.

Dosage
Do you use more tanning products such as indian almond leaves, or many other foliage, please take into account in the dosage.

Effect
After about 3 weeks, the tannins are largely released. The indian almond tree tube can now be renewed or permanently remain as a decoration in the aquarium.
Tip: In order to avoid larger fluctuations of the tannin content when changing the water, the indian almond tree tubes can also be used for the treatment of the alternating water. Here we recommend to use our Indian almond tree bark so as not to have to take the nice tubes for it... ;o)
