Liquid Protect+

Liquid Protect+ protects your animals and plants from dangerous heavy metals and other pollutants that can enter the aquarium via tap water. Its powerful, immediate action reliably neutralizes copper, lead, zinc, chlorine, chloramine, and other harmful substances right after addition. Liquid Protect+ from GlasGarten thus ensures fast and effective aquarium water that is safe for animals and plants.

High Copper Protection for Shrimp and other Invertebrates
Even small amounts of heavy metals or chlorine can be harmful to aquarium animals. Copper, in particular, which enters the water through copper pipes, is especially toxic to shrimp and other invertebrates and can quickly be fatal. Even slightly contaminated tap water can cause gradual poisoning, resulting in occasional deaths. For this reason, we have incorporated extra high copper protection into Liquid Protect+, which easily and completely neutralizes the maximum permissible copper limit set by the EU Drinking Water Directive.

Powerful against the dangers of chlorine
Chlorine is also very harmful to aquarium inhabitants and is used in many regions to disinfect tap water. It can occur suddenly, for example, if the water supplier needs to disinfect water pipes due to high bacterial contamination or after work on the water network. This often happens unexpectedly and without prior notice, and can quickly turn even normally safe tap water into a danger for aquarium inhabitants. Regular use of GlasGarten Liquid Protect+ with every water change protects against such unpleasant surprises, as it reliably removes chlorine even at high levels.

Care ingredients for fish and shrimp
For enhanced protection and care, Liquid Protect+ contains care ingredients (Care Formula) that protect the mucous membranes, fins, and gills of fish, as well as supporting the molting and regeneration of shrimp.

Thanks to the concentration of active ingredients, Liquid Protect+ offers a high range, allowing you to treat a lot of tap water with minimal effort, thus saving resources and packaging.

Our tip
To ensure the animals in your aquarium feel as comfortable and healthy as possible, we recommend using our GlasGarten Liquid Humin+ after applying GlasGarten Liquid Protect+. This combination is perfect for safe, clean, and biotope-appropriate aquarium water. After the water has been purified by Liquid Protect+, the Liquid Humin+ prepares it for the biotope environment. Humic substances are among the most important components in aquarium water, but they are usually lacking in tap water, so they must be added. A small dose of humic substances after each water change is perfect.

Usage
When setting up a new aquarium: Add to the total volume of water in the aquarium
When performing a partial water change: Add only to the amount of water changed

Dosage
10 ml per 80 liters of tap water or
20 drops per 10 liters of tap water

Water change using a hose from the tap
If you are using a hose to fill the aquarium directly from the tap, add the Liquid Protect+ to the water inlet immediately before adding the water.

Water change using a bucket
If you are changing the water using a bucket, add the appropriate dose of Liquid Protect+ (depending on the bucket size) to the bucket and then fill it with tap water.

100 ml is sufficient for 800 liters of tap water (incl. dropper insert/drip dosage)
250 ml is sufficient for 2000 liters of tap water (incl. dropper insert/drip dosage)
