The water test JBL Pro Aquatest NO3 (nitrate) determines the nitrate value in your fresh and salt water aquarium.

Nitrate NO3 is an important plant nutrient and should always be present in the (freshwater) aquarium at approx. 10-40 mg/l. Higher values are often non-toxic to fish and other inhabitants, but they have a negative impact on well-being. Too much or too little promotes algae growth in the aquarium.

• recommended value: 10 - 50 mg/l nitrate in fresh water
• for approx. 40 measurements with 2 glass cuvettes with screw cap
• suitable for fresh and saltwater aquariums
• gradation of the values: < 0,5; 1; 5; 10; 20; 40; 80; 140; 220 mg/l
• color scale with 11 colors from yellow to orange-red
• Laboratory comparator system to compensate for the intrinsic water color
• including syringe for easy measurement of the amount of water
