The planting tweezers JBL P 30 curved have been designed for easy planting in the aquarium, and they make this work considerably easier.

It is very hard to plant aquatic plants by hand so they have a good hold in the substrate. They have a certain buoyancy and tend to get uprooted. A hand is a comparatively clumsy tool, and you won't even reach some places in your tank. With a good pair of tweezers, planting is much easier, faster and more comfortable (and safer for the plants, as the delicate roots remain intact), and the plants have a better hold in the substrate.
