ProTemp external

The JBL ProTemp external is an energy-efficient external heater designed for precise temperature control in aquariums. It is easily integrated into the return hose of an external filter and reliably maintains a constant water temperature between 20 and 35 °C. This external installation frees up space in the aquarium while ensuring even heat distribution.

The powerful ceramic heating element operates particularly efficiently and automatically adjusts the heating output to actual demand. This ensures that only as much energy is consumed as is necessary to maintain the desired temperature. For maximum safety, the device features an automatic shut-off in case of overheating or dry running.

An easy-to-read digital LED display shows both the current and the set temperature simultaneously. Operation is intuitive via SET and arrow keys, while an integrated key lock provides additional protection. Thanks to the included adapters, the heater is compatible with various hose sizes and can be flexibly integrated into existing filter systems.
