JBL SilicatEx Rapid is an effective filter granulate that has been specially developed to combat diatoms and phosphates in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It prevents the formation of brown diatom deposits and thus ensures a clean and clear aquarium.

How it works:

Diatoms need silicate and phosphate to grow, so they are effectively combated by reducing these substances in the water. JBL SilicatEx Rapid binds both silicate and phosphate and thus contributes to a healthy and balanced aquarium climate.

Use:

Rinse the JBL SilicatEx Rapid briefly under running water before use

Fill the granules in the supplied mesh bag

Place the bag in the filter basket of the filter

Regularly check the silicate content in the water with the JBL silicate test

Replace the JBL SilicatEx Rapid if the silicate content increases again.

50 g of JBL SilicatEx Rapid is enough for 100 liters of aquarium water.
