HMF Filter sponge

The JAC HMF Mobil Filter sponges / Filter cartridges have a very large settlement area for important filter bacteria and microorganisms, which are indispensable for the purification (pollutant removal) of the aquarium water. The large surface of the JAC Filter sponge achieves high biological filtration with long maintenance intervals.

The color is a matter of taste, the balue filter sponge but also darkened by the Filtermulm after a relatively short time.

The pore density of the JAC Filter sponge
The pore density (ppi) is usually based on the needs in the aquarium, or on the animal stocking you care.
Filter cartridges with fine pores usually enter a little faster, have a lower flow rate and may need to be rinsed a little more often once.
Filter cartridges with a medium pore density offer a slightly higher flow rate, are a bit lower maintenance, but are particularly good for pearling fish in the pool.
The differences are rather small and certainly hardly noticeable in use ... a fine pore density would be recommended if you have small baby fish or baby shrimp in the aquarium. With the fine pores (45 ppi), the small baby shrimp practically do not get through the filter foam. With the average pore density of 30 ppi they can crawl through the slightly larger pores.

The JAC Filter sponge for the HMF Mobil filter are made of German brand foam and are available in different heights, diameters, pore densities and colors.

Filter sponge / filter cartridge from Jonny's Air Concept are available as follows
• in blue or black color
• with 45 ppi (fine) or 30 ppi (medium)
• as 7.5 × 7.5 cm or as 10 × 10 cm filter block
• Height: 12, 17, 22 and 32 cm at the 7.5 × 7.5 cm block
• Height: 17, 22, 32, 42 and 52 cm at the 10 × 10 cm block
