Hygrophila "Araguaia" 1-2-Grow!
Hygrophila "Araguaia", in VitroThese plants are already cultivated in their submersed form in the sealed pot (in contrast to most traditionally-produced plants, which are grown above the waterline in aquatic plant nurseries), and when planted into an aquarium, there is no need for them to shed their air leaves and sprout underwater leaves ... therefore, inVitro plants are off to a good start in a tank and will take root very quickly.
Hygrophila "Araguaia"
Araguaia is a river system in Brazil, and this plant has become known under this name, too. There are many factors that suggest that this plant is in reality a variant of Hygrophila lancea from Japan and Hongkong. Its growth habit is compact, with very dense foliage. This plant branches out readily and grows to a height of 10-20 cm. When the stems are cut back frequently, it will maintain a bushy growth. Its reddish brown to reddish purple leaf color is enhanced by good growth conditions. 'Araguaia‘ grows moderately fast for a Hygrophila.

Tropica :: Hygrophila "Araguaia" 1-2-Grow!
