Item with minor defectsThe following is no longer as new in this article:We offer all plants with defects that we no longer want to sell as fresh, top-quality goods as B-stock.
These defects could be, for example:
• Discoloration and/or leaf defects
• Irregularities in the growth formWe only offer plants as B-stock that we believe are still strong enough to grow and thrive in the aquarium.
These plants are already cultivated in their submersed form in the sealed pot (in contrast to most traditionally-produced plants, which are grown above the waterline in aquatic plant nurseries), and when planted into an aquarium, there is no need for them to shed their air leaves and sprout underwater leaves ... therefore, inVitro plants are off to a good start in a tank and will take root very quickly.
Pogostemon deccanensis (before: Pogostemon erectus)
Pogostemon deccanensis / erectus from India grows in dense groups and has light green, fir-like stems. It is a good choice as a backdrop for other plants, but also looks nice when planted in smaller or larger groups, which make great eyecatchers. It grows to a height of 15-40 cm. Under good light it will assume a compact growth habit, and thanks to its moderate growth and the very strong root system it will grace your aquarium with its beauty for a long time.
