Rotala macrandra
Rotala macrandra is an uncommonly beautiful aquarium plant, unfortunately it is very demanding. It needs strong light to develop its nice red color. The additional injection of CO2 and cultivation in soft water are required for good growth. In a group, this plant looks the nicest, but the individual shoots must not be planted too densely in order to get some light to the lowermost leaves.
