Rotala rotundifolia 'Blood Red' 1-2-Grow!

The 1-2 Grow! Plants from Tropica come directly from the laboratory, are free of algae, snails and pollutants and are therefore ideal for shrimp and sensitive fish species.

They can be placed in the tank immediately after rinsing off the sugary nutrient solution. No prior watering is necessary.

The plants thrive in the sealed pot in their underwater form (compared to the conventional plants from plant nurseries that are usually grown over water), so that after being introduced into the aquarium they do not have to shed some of their (above water) leaves and develop new underwater leaves... the best conditions for rapid growth.

The Rotala rotundifolia 'Blood Red' 1-2 Grow! aquarium plant from Tropica is the most intensely red-colored variant of the many different types of Rotala rotundifolia and looks particularly beautiful next to light green plants... the red coloring is then even more intense. The Rotala rotundifolia 'Blood Red' is relatively easy to cultivate and grows even in relatively low light and nutrient conditions. However, for an intense coloring, a lot of light, nutrients and an additional CO₂ supply are required. The stem plant Rotala rotundifolia 'Blood Red' grows upright to slightly arched and usually forms many branches/branches. Regular pruning is necessary to ensure good light incidence and water circulation between the stems and branches.
