Fine-Tuning - Grey Accent

The WIO Fine-Tuning - Grey Accent is a small natural stone with a predominantly grey to greyish colour and a stone size of approx. 3 - 30 mm in a balanced mixture. With the Fine-Tuning - Grey Accent from WIO you can either create a very natural-looking ground design in smaller aquariums, or you can supplement your layout in larger tanks and use the WIO Fine-Tuning set for detailed design. The different stone sizes and color differences create a beautiful depth effect in the layout and reinforce the natural impression.

The Fine-Tuning - Grey Accent goes perfectly with larger grey or brown-grey stones - the rock colours create a rather rough, mountainous atmosphere in the aquarium.

TIP
Pure gravel generally contains no nutrients for aquarium plants and the important microfauna (bacteria). If you only use gravel as a substrate when setting up the aquarium, it is recommended (depending on the plants used) to use substrate fertilizer, e.g. fertilizer balls or a nutrient layer under the gravel.

NOTE
Although all WIO stones and gravel are pre-washed, it is advisable to rinse them briefly with water before placing them in the aquarium. This way, any fine abrasion that may occur during transport does not get into the aquarium and initially cloud the water.
