XINYOU air-operated Bio Sponge Filters combine mechanical and biological filtration. Simply install an air hose to the Filter and ensure ventilation and filtration of your Aquarium. Aerobic bacteria that colonize the Bio Filter Sponge facilitate the nitrogen cycle. The air diffusion chamber generates many small air bubbles, which increases the oxygen solubility. In addition, the filter sponge captures larger waste particles that mechanically clean the water without endangering baby fish or shrimp.
The air-operated Bio Sponge Filters are useful as breeding filters and secondary filters, or can be adapted as a prefiltration unit to an external filter.
The Bio Sponge Filters are designed and manufactured from high quality materials that exceed the life of comparable filters by lengths.
The filter sponge was manufactured according to the multi-layer principle and designed so that it has the largest possible surface and is easy to clean.
Hints and tips
Immerse the filter in the water for 5 minutes before use, so that the nitrifying bacteria can easily settle.
Do not use hot or fresh water when cleaning ... this would kill or affect the important filter bacteria. It is recommended to rinse the filter sponge in a bucket with the original aquarium water and to express it easily.
Note on operation
For operation, an air-diaphragm pump and air hose (both not included and optional) are required for extension.

Ich war zuerst skeptisch, habe es aber für den Preis einfach mal ausprobiert und bin begeistert. Angeschlossen an einer V10 schafft der Kleine richtig viel Durchfluss und ist dabei flüsterleise. Der Mittel (doppelt) läuft jetzt in meinem 125er Diskus-Zuchtwürfel. Weitere in den anderen Becken werden mit Sicherheit folgen.
Bin sehr zufrieden. Die defusior Funktion läuft einwandfrei.
Hatte erst mal einen zur Probe bestellt, bin positiv überrascht.
Ich hab mir nochmal einen Schwung von den mittleren doppelten Bestellt nachdem ich schon 2 in Betrieb habe, die haben mich einfach Überzeugt :-)
Auf jeden Fall eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung !
Fördert viel Luft und somit auch Wasser. Sprudelt sehr gut und ist leise. Die Schwämme werden gerne von den Garnelen abgewendet. Mega für den Preis!!!!
Ich habe die mittlere doppelte Variante bestellt und bin sehr Zufrieden damit.
Besonders gefällt mir der Diffusor der die Blasen gut "zerkleinert"
Den Auslauf oben habe ich mit einem Stück passenden und abgeschrägten Rohr etwas verlängert, so wird das Wasser weiter ins Becken geführt.
Werde nach fertigstellung meiner Anlage noch weitere dieser Bio-Schwammfilter bestellen.
Ich habe mehrere der Mittleren Filter (doppel) bestellt und war positiv über ihre Größe und Qualität überrascht.
