AquaClear Activated Carbon

The Fluval activated carbon is the third, chemical stage of the 4-stage filtration of an AquaClear AC20 or AC30 high-performance filter. The activated carbon reliably removes odors, discoloration and harmful impurities from the water by effectively absorbing toxins and organic substances. In this way, it not only helps to improve the water quality, but also supports the health of your fish and other aquarium inhabitants.

Specially developed for use in freshwater and saltwater aquariums, this high-quality filter medium offers excellent adsorption properties and ensures crystal-clear water.

In addition, both the Fluval activated carbon insert and all other filter units can be replaced quickly and easily when the filter machine is installed. For optimum results, we recommend replacing the activated carbon every 4 weeks.
