4-stage filtration for excellent water quality
The AquaClear AC high-performance filter impresses with its sophisticated 4-stage filtration. The first two filter stages are so-called mechanical filter stages. These consist of a filter sponge at the inlet of the filter machine and a Bio-Foam in the device. The mechanical filter stages not only protect the small animals in your aquarium, but also filter out coarse and fine dirt particles.

After the first mechanical filter stages, the water passes through the chemical filter stage, which consists of activated carbon. The activated carbon removes odours, discoloration and impurities and significantly improves the color and purity of the water. In addition, both the activated carbon insert and all other filter units can be replaced quickly and easily when the filter machine is installed.

The final filter stage of the Fluval AquaClear AC high-performance filter is the biological filtration, which contains ultra-porous BIOMAX. The BIOMAX promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria and thus optimizes the overall health of the aquarium.
