AquaClear BIOMAX

The BIOMAX ceramic nodes for the AquaClear AC series are specially developed filter material that ensures effective biological filtration in your aquarium. The complex pore system of the nodes allows beneficial bacteria to colonize quickly and multiply optimally, which promotes the breakdown of harmful ammonia and nitrite. These bacteria play a crucial role in maintaining a healthy and stable aquarium environment.

The unique design of the BIOMAX nodes enables even water distribution and extends the contact time between water and filter medium. This significantly improves the biological filter performance and ensures thorough cleaning of the water.

For optimum results, we recommend replacing the filter medium every 3 months. It is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums and supports the water quality by breaking down harmful substances.
