AquaClear Pre-filter sponge

The Fluval Pre-filter sponge has been specially developed for use with the Fluval AquaClear high-performance filters of the AC series. It is easy to install over the filter inlet and ensures that the water is efficiently filtered before it enters the filter. Thanks to its special design, it keeps out impurities such as algae threads and dirt and thus contributes to a constant, unhindered flow of water.

Another practical feature of this Fluval Pre-filter sponge is that it protects small fish or baby fish from being sucked into the filter, which is particularly beneficial in aquariums with young animals. The filter medium is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums and ensures optimum water quality in both cases.

With this pre-filter medium, you ensure the longevity of your pump and at the same time improve the filter performance so that your aquarium always remains crystal clear.
