Shrimp Protector

The new Shrimp Protector Filter Guards are the perfect protection for filters and drain hoses, so no shrimp or other aquarium inhabitants can be sucked in. The stainless steel net is so fine that even baby shrimp are protected. They have a corresponding circumference, so that on the one hand, the suction flow is greatly reduced and on the other hand, the Shrimp Protector not clog so quickly, by using on external filter. For easy cleaning of the Shrimp Protector, bottom cap (comes with the 10 mm variant) or screw cap (comes with the 13 mm variant) can be easily removed, so that you can also get to the Shrimp Protector net from the inside.

Even when changing the water you do not have to be careful anymore with the Shrimp Protector, no shrimp can be sucked off with it. The Shrimp Protector is even suitable for filling water, as it distributes the amount of water evenly and when turning up the faucet no longer so much of the device is whirled up.

The Shrimp Protectors are very easy to install, they fit on the usual 9/12 or 12/16 mm aquarium hoses. Who e.g. has a plastic spout, which can easily connect the Shrimp Protctor with a piece of 9/12 or 12/16 mm hose. When changing the water hose, the Shrimp Protector is placed directly on the hose.

Simple, inexpensive and effective, you can even protect baby shrimps from landing in the filter, bucket or even in the sink.
