I bought this bag to use Seachem Purigen in my filter. I tried using a cheaper alternative but that did not work out at all. The Purigen leaked out. This is the only bag I have found to work perfectly.
It is very sturdy synthetic material with with small enough pores to contain the Purigen. A bit expensive but totally worth the money.
Not worth the money for me. It's just a bag, stronger than normal mesh bags, however it has a very positive point that is the thermo sealing. Not buying it again.
