Water conditioner should almost always be used when using tap water. They bind undesirable substance such as heavy metals (e.g., copper) and chlorine, which may occur from time to time in the tap water.

If you using osmosis water for your shrimp aquarium or planted Aquarium, a re-mineralization with special minerals and trace elements is necessary. Pure R/O water contains no minerals and trace elements that are vital to animals and plants. For example, our Bee Shrimp Mineral exactly developed for the needs of the Bee Shrimps and other soft-water shrimp species. Other re-mineralization products deliberately increase the calcium content, or other parameters... according to your needs.

For a beautifully planted Aquascaping Aquarium, plant fertilizer is essential and will supply e.g. Nitrate, phosphate, potassium and iron. This allows your Aquatic Plants to grow and thrive very beautiful and healthy (in addition to the CO2 supply).

For the actual testing of the water in the Aquarium, this tests are designed specifically for the Aquarium, and fast, easy and simple to handle. As quick test, usually called Test-Strips, are simply dipped only briefly into the water.

Exact measurements can be determined with Droplet Test. Water Tests are available as a single test, as a set, or as a test suitcase with the most common water tests.
